BABY BLUE
Baby Blue was a commissioned piece for a new exciting inner city grow project called the "The Grow Dome Project".
"Dublin's first geodesic grow dome in the heart of Dublin 8 is an intensive all-year-round sustainable food production tool, an arts and music exhibition space, a community meeting and education area, and an iconic piece of art in its own right – all at the same time."
As you might recognise, this used to be a bathtub, saved from a skip and upcycled into this beautiful and very comfortable tub chair. This can be made to order, in any colour. Drop us an email with your requirements.

NOW IT'S A LIGHT!
I just love tinkering around with stuff. I have found that I love the challenge of turning things into lights!
The picture on the left well, I picked the oil lamp up in a very fusty smelling charity shop for pittance. It looked awfully dull, rusty and filthy but I was attracted to it, to it's potential.
This oil lamps potential excited me. One day, after it had been sitting in my workshop for a bit, took it up and with my sanding pads on my Dremel, got to turning this ugly duckling into the beautiful swan that it would become. The sanding didn't take long but golly, did it look so much better after it's love and attention.
These atmospheric table lamps can be painted in any colour you wish, just let us know what your requirements are.

Ball Pit Lights
These really colourful beauties came out of pure curiousity on my behalf.
Most homes with children will have these. We indeed did, that is, until I got my hands on them and turned them into lights.
These are easily made using a small drill, a glue gun and a set of white LED battery operated bulbs.

LEGO LAMP
This was so fun to make and I was so surpised at how well it turned out. When it comes to Lego, I am the follow the instructions kinda gal but this time, no instructions but pages of imagination and ideas to filter through. The result, I hope you will agree, is quite fun!

Nanny's Tea Lights
I love vintage china but having two small boys, was worried about them getting damaged!
I had seen chandliers & table lamps made from these beauties but wondered why nobody had tried this way, the right way up!
Out came the drill, rummaged for the electrical bits and Bob's your Uncle, ta dah!
These beauties are so atomospheric and find themselves quite at home sitting on a dresser.

disco drum ba boom!
To be honest, the Disco Drum was truly inspired by the great Upcyler, Mr McMurdo. I had seen a picture of his wonderful creation some time ago.
Low & behold, on my way back from collecting my boys from school, I came across the washing machine drum in a skip. Skip chick scavenger, that's me afterall. Asked could I have it, off I went home, my mind a buzzing with ideas.
So I wanted to do my take on the McMurdo version!
I added wheels. We have wooden floors & two boys who like to push things around!
Reinforced glass, I mean come on, you have to dance on it right?! Last but not least, LIGHTS! PURPLE LIGHTS!

EVOLUTION
As a parent, many of you will understand the silent screams of pain when you stand on a piece of Lego or toy, in the dark. We have all done it, cringing as we creep out the door of our child's bedroom to lick our wounds.
Well, I took inspiration from that. Now don't think me cruel, they were finished playing with these toys, honest!
What could I do with these. How could I make use of them, admire them, without injury?!
This fun idea came about. Turn them into something functional, a table lamp.
These can be made in any colour. I did a gold one recently, very classy, adult version.

The Concrete Collection
I just LOVE the industrial look of this. They are rough but smooth. I was curios about what I could do with concrete. I had some copper lying around from another commission (pics below) and decided to give it a whirl!
Also in the collection is a trio of pendant concrete shades with a copper interior.
